My ggg grandfather, Oscar Fitzalan Dunwreath Wilson was born in 1832. He went to California during the Goldrush and reportedly died of fever shortly after he got there. That was in Grass Valley about 1850. Somehow the information, that he died of fever and when, has come down thru the generations, but no one seems to know where it came from. Family members have gone to Grass Valley looking for information but found nothing. If anyone on the Goldrush mail list has any ideas on how to discover what became of him, we would be very grateful.
