I'm sorry I mentioned LA. I am going from Oregon down towards Tahoe and then down to Palm Springs and over to LA. It is a leisurely trip and I've made it several times without the stop in Sierra Co... I didn't realize so much attention would be focussed on my itinerary rather then the question. I don't need anymore information on the distance between LA and Sierra Co. Thank You anyway
