Found in the Sacramento Bee Index: John R. Polglase married 8 Jan 1870, 12 Jan 1870 edition Polgiaise, son born 10 Oct 1880, 15 Oct 1880 edition I checked1868-1881 for Polglase. I cc'd a fellow researcher who can look at the Bee from that edition and get you the rest of the listing which would be the location and the bride's name. With the location, you might be able to get their actual marriage certificate from the county. I have one from my gggp wedding in 1870 in Sierra county.
