I have heard that this is a great list, and have finally got around to subscribing! I am looking for information regarding a Michael J. Ryan. Michael was born Jan.17th, 1870? in Edwardsville, Madison County,Il. He was the son of Peter and Bridget Ryan.I know that in 1903 Michael was living in Mankato, Mn and in 1908 Fargo, North Dakota. Sometime after that but before 1911 Michael was working for the Deere and Weber Co. of Minneapolis. In 1911 Michael organized the Ryan Vehicle Co. with his brother Peter Ryan in Phoenix, Ariz. In 1914 Pater bought out Michael's interests in the Company. Sometime after then Michael moved to Fresno, Ca.In the late 1920's My great-grandmother Ella Ryan McNeilly (Michael's sister) and my Grandparents and my Mother and Uncle went to visit. I have some great..but unlabeled photos of Michael and his family..nice house..even by todays standaards.
