Researching William Bonaparte Cory, born June 15, 1827 in Rhode Island, location unknown. Died Nov. 27, 1916 in Truckee, CA. According to census records, father was born in NY and mother in CT. Would like to know parent's names and any siblings. W.B. Cory came to California from Ohio by covered wagon in the 1850's according to his daughter's obit. He was a cook according to census records. W.B. Cory married Mary Ford, native of Dublin, Ireland, in Downieville, CA in 1870. Had three children, Emma Agnes, Hannah and Charles. Would like to hear from anyone have information on this family.
