Colleen (?- right first name?) I want you to know that I think you are doing a great job with the index from Vol #3 of Millard's HISTORY OF SF BAY REGION. I'm familiar with the 3 volume book and I know that there is an index. I can't remember if there is one index in one of the volumes for all 3 books or an index in each book for that volume..... BUT, it sounds like you may be reading through the text in volume 3 and picking out names, alphabetizing them and then posting them. Am I right??? WHAT A JOB!!! And what a gift to the rest of us.....
