Lillie. I don't have the answer to that although I would assume so. My ggg-grandfather and his brother came to CA from OH for the gold in the spring of 1855. They pursued their gold searching for additional 6 years in the area up near Placerville before moving to Woodland and continuing their profession as Lawyers.
