    3. Greetings Listers from sunny Perth, Australia Just wanted to express my sincere thanks for all those kind people who have responded to my plea for help in finding my great-grandfather John POLGLASE. Sadly he appears to have disappeared into the mists of time!!! We found his cousin, Edward MOYLE but not the elusive John. Will still keep on looking. Can anyone tell me, please, whether the big mines in Grass Valley kept records of their miners and, if so, where are they now? If there was an epidemic where miners were buried in mass graves, one would have thought the mine owners would have kept some sort of a list, or were things different then??? Again, many thanks. Cheers Pat -- Pat Banks 105/10 Timbercrest Rise WOODVALE WA 6026 AUSTRALIA Fax: +61 8 9409 6113 Researching: CORNWALL: COCK - Mullion; GEORGE - St. Agnes; OSBORNE - St. Levan; POLGLASE - Breage and St. Erth NORTHERN IRELAND: MAGILL Co.Antrim; MAWHINNEY - Co.Antrim DEVON: DODD - Moretonhampstead; POTTER - Moretonhampstead BROOM - Teignmouth.
