Can anyone tell me if there were registers of physicians in northern CA from the years 1850 to 1890? I am trying to pinpoint where my gr. grandfather, Dr. J. W. (Jesse Walker) Steely lived in his latter years and might be buried. He had a gold mine near Grizzly Flats in about 1852 and he was later a doctor at the Pacific House Hotel in Suisun City.
