Hello Folks! I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Whiteford and I am the listowner for [email protected] I noticed that there wasn't a list before and I knew that we needed one. I have had success with my McCurdy list, so hopefully the Byers list will be successful also. I see that the Byers Board at Genforum is a very busy board. This is good. I like to see everyone helping eachother. That is the purpose of boards and mailing lists. I would like to see the Byers list as a friendly, helpful and informative list. And everyone please remember that flaming will not be tolerated. And also, please do not put attachments on your messages. If you have a file that is especially long (needing to be sent as an attachment), please post the details of your file and then interested individuals can request the file from you directly. Byers URL's are appreciated. And please post information on any Byers even if they are not related to you. Perhaps in the future we will get a Byers webpage going which would contain links to everyone's webpages. If there is such a thing going somewhere already please post the URL to the list.
