James & Elizabeth Piper had 14 children. I have their names if interested. These names and dates were mostly found in a book entitled the History of Mercer County, Pa. I am desperately trying to tie the William here to my William, if you can help I would appreciate it. So many things match but William is such a common name. My William's wife's name was Elizabeth. Samuel arrived in Pulaski township of Mercer County ( now Lawrence County in 1796) and my William arrived when Mercer County was very young, He came from Morgan town, West Va. and my William was born in West Va. in 1790. Some of the birth dates in that book were one year off inc! luding the one you supplied for Samuel Jr. so I am hoping you will send your e-mail address so we can write directly.
