My tree goes back to Abraham Byers b. 1821 in Ontario, Canada, marr. 1844 in IN, moved to IA about 1850 and d. 1885 in Story county, IA. Have not found who the parents or siblings of Abraham are. I have suspected a connection to the Mills co Iowa Byers family, but have not found any evidence. If you see any leads in your book (mention of a relative in Canada, etc.), please let me know.
