John Byers died 1803 in Gallia Co Oh. His estate mentions names including a mother named Sarrah in Montgomery Co Va. Estate administered by son Edward Byers who settled in Jackson Co Oh. I believe these Byers are from Augusta Co Va originally. An Isaac, David and William Byers are connected and end up in Preble and Darke Counties.. Have researched Chalkey's Chronicles. Identified a William who was there about 1754 who settled on Col Pattons lands. Found reference to a Capt John Byers who lived on or near same propety that Wm Byers lived on.
