However, your dates for his birth and date of marriage does not make since he would be only 12 years old. I don't have David as a son of Samuel but One World Tree does list him. I did find a marriage record for the date you listed as the marriage date they have here name spelled as Rebekah born 1780 with the father being John McClain and Jane Unknown last name.
