He married Clarissa Collins in Belmont County, Ohio in 1844. They had at least three children: Sarah, b. abt. 1847, m. Duncan Highman; Garrett, b. abt. 1849, m. Sarah ?; and Nancy Catherine b. abt. 1854, m. Daniel Cumpson. All three children had children. I'm particularly interested in information on a granddaughter of Abner and Clarrissa who is currently only known to me as Mrs. George Crawford. I don't know her first name or which of Abner's three children she was born to. She was the recipient of some family letters that I would like to locate.
