Dear List, Have been gone for quite awhile but now trying to back to work (fun, too). Am looking for the birthplace and family of Calvin G. Byers who, according to the 1900 Census of Grayson County, Texas and as reported by his widow and children, was born in Georgia, ca. 1855-59. I have no other clues as to his parents, siblings. In 1881 he married Anna Salmons in Missouri where Anna was born ca. 1859-61. Her folks were married in Lincoln Co., Missouri so perhaps Anna was born there. Maybe..
