George BYERS (my gg-grandfather) b abt 1820 d 1890 m Malinda Moore 1841 in Belmont Co., Ohio. They made their home in Wayne Twp, Belmnt Co. and had the following children: Andrew, Hannah, Isaac, John William, Marie, Nathaniel and Julia Ann. I believe George Byers is descended from George Frederick Byers and Cahtarine Sams of PA, thru their son Martin. Martin and at least one brother lived in Belmont Co. in the 1830's and 1840's, but seems to have left by 1850. Martin Byers had at a son who would have been in the correct age bracket for my George.
