Moses was Jerome's father. I am assuming you are related to Moses too? I think Moses was a bastard child. So far as the indian goes my grandfather (Emily's son) always said that the Byers were indian (cherokee descent). My grandfather was Radford C Stewart (he changed the spelling to t instead of d on Stewart). Do you know anything about Jerome's wife? Her name is Canzady. Also I am trying to find out the ethnic background of the Byers to see if it relates back to a serious health problem that I have. I am told by the doctors that my health problem could be based on ethnic background and this mysterious illness that I have could have skipped two generations. Thanks --- Liz
