My direct line of Byers ancestors back to Daniel Byers: 1. Michael H. Byers 2. Watt Hardin Byers, Jr. b. 15 Nov 1926 d. 01 Apr 1982 3. Watt Hardin Byers, Sr. b. 05 Apr 1896 d. 25 Jan 1961 4. Joseph Henderson Byers b. 01 Apr 1846 d. 17 Feb 1925 5. James H. Byers b. 04 Mar 1808 d. 03 May 1887 6. John R. Byers b. 01 Jun 1782 in PA d. abt. 1830 in KY 7. Daniel Byers b. abt 1754 in PA d. abt 1818 in KY Starting with James H. above everything occurred in KY. Of course my big interest is with Daniel--his father & mother, where they came from, etc. One source has implied that his father may have been Thomas Byers. So far I haven't found any connections.
