We can't even get gmother Mary BYERS BEATTIE sorted out. She was likely born circa 1888 and married early 1900s in the borders area and died likely in Carlisle between 1911 and 1915 after her third son was born. Have some family lists from census 1851 and census 1881 but now need to look at 1891. Good luck with your Robert BYERS ... will keep your e-mail address for future reference. Cheers, Ann *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Ann Neilson Beattie & David Beattie, Cochrane Alberta Canada researching BEATTIE/BYERS borders area of England/Scotland; also Ireland & Canada *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- -----Original Message----- From: Anderson K.J [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, March 12, 2000 10:10 PM To: Ann Beattie Subject: BYERS Hi Ann I saw your message regarding your interest in BYERS in the border areas. I am interested in a BYERS family who were in the Sunderland area of Durham starting with a Robert Byers who married a Jane Softby in 1712 in Bishopwearmouth Durham. If you have any connection please contact me Regards Kerry Anderson
