I am currently seacrhing for my family. Some of my family are out of York. Is your family out of Broad River, York S.C.? My grandfather Mr. Fred Darby Byers was born in 1920 in the county of Broad River, township of York S.C. His parents were James Arthur Byers and Bertha Chambers Byers. His parents were born abt 1882-1885.
