Byers b. 1914 Illinois, d. 1986 Iowa. His parents were Charles M. Byers and Edna Hooten Byers. Charles and Edna were from Tennessee. Does anyone know what happened to Ernest's father Charles Byers? He and Edna's marriage was dissolved probably between 1916-1920.
