The Byers family is buried in the Churchville Cemetary. I have an ancestor, John Byers, b. July 26, 1777 in Augusta Co., VA and married Jane Harper. Later married her sister, Mary. I am trying to determine if his father was David Byers, who married a Rosannah (?) and if this David is the one who came over from the Scotch/Irish area. to settle in VA.
