I am looking for information about the family of George BYERS of Scotland. He had 3 children about whom I have information - Frances (Fanny) (b1812 Dumfriesshire Scotland), John (b 12 August 1816 Dumfriesshire Scotland) and Christian b 1817 Dumfriesshire Scotland). there may have been more children, but these 3 emigrated to South Australia, where Fanny married George Johnston, John (emigrated 1839)married (not sure whether that was before or after emigrating) Margaret Carruthers; and Christian (emigrated 1850) married John Hutton, and later William Balls.
