Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UFH.2ACEB/653 Message Board Post: i can't seem to get beyond my great grandfather, Frank Robert Byers who married Clarissa Winton in 1881. here is what i know: my great grandfather, Frank Robert Byers, born somewhere in NC about 1850-53 (we think), married Clarissa Ann Winton, born 4-23-1863 in NC, on 3-16-1881. they had 9 children. my grandfather, Charles Arthur Byers, i was given his middle name as my middle name, born 12-7-1892 in Elizabeth, TN. i will list them below. child's name born in married Charles Arthur - 12-7-1892 Elizabeth, TN Marie Shunke Clay Aven - 11-2-1895 Elizabeth, TN Sarah Margarat Rowe Dewey Commodore - 5-22-1902(1898??) ??, NC Elsie Alice Vetter Robert Elridge - 8-12-189? Elizabeth, TN Mary Elizabeth Rowe (sister of Sarah above) Lillie - married William Willett Lula M. (Luta ?) - married ? Barton Emma - married ? Scranton Laura - married ? Lewis (might have been called Ida after she married) May - died in infancy Frank and Clancy (Clarissa's nickname we believe) moved to Coquille, Oregon (southern Oregon coast) and the family got into farming. Clay & Sarah (born 6-11-1902 in Knox County, KY) married 12-9-1926 in Four Mile, KY can anyone help??
