Seeking information on Robert Byers who married Mary Smith. For the 1920 census their postal address was Barnes City in Mahaska Co., Ia. They lived on a farm. Robert was 51 and Mary was 44, both born in Iowa. Family tradition has it that they had a son Walter Byers who may have been born about 1900. He married Ruth Hellings of Oskaloosa and they lived in Wisc. If anyone knows more about this family, I would appreciate hearing from you.
