I too am a Byers and I am interested in the fourteen generations you have tracked down. Even it appears that we are related from what you wrote in your email, it never hurts to ask. I am descended from Daniel Byers and Margaret -?- who were married abt 1775 possibly in Southwest PA. He sold land in Yohogania Co, VA (now Beaver Co, PA but the county no longer exists)in 1779 and moved to the Kentucky Co of VA, settling in what is now Larue Co before moving on to Grayson County. If you have anything in your line that might relate let me know. I am particular interested in links prior to 1779 that might shed light on a Father, Mother, and/or siblings.
