I was tracing the wrong tree then. The Ann that I mentioned in my post actually died in infancy. My Ann Byers was born down in London. Her father was George Byers. His father was Scottish. Sorry to get your hopes up. I have the birth certificate, and the marriage certificate of Thomas Byers & Elizabeth Allison which I am more than happy to send on to you as they are of no use to me.
