I have info that I received from Roscoe Keeney, he was helping to update the Paxton geneology. Anyway, the info shows that James Oliver and Sarah Elizabeth had 6 sons and 1 daughter. William, Daniel, Taylor, George, Albert, Frank and Elizabeth (Lizzie). Frank's middle name was Doc and also the name he went by. He is my grandfather. James Oliver's 2nd marriage to Virginia Byers resulted in the following births: Mary Rictor, Emma, Samuel (died in infancy), Bessie, Gertrude and Virginia (Virgie). James Oliver's third marriage to Bettie Ann Crush - no children. His fourth marriage was to Elizabeth Smith - no children. Would love to share my info with you. Surnames: BYERS ARNOLD PRICHARD Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UFH.2ACEB/637.2.1 Message Board Post: You might look in Wilson Co TN near the tiny town of Norene (about 12 miles north of Murfreesboro). I have ARNOLD & BYERS in my line. James B. PRICHARD (Jan 11, 1819 TN to Dec 25, 1892 TN) was married to Martha A. ARNOLD (Apr 29, 1830 TN to Jan 5, 1906 TN) James had a younger sister who is my 3rd g-grandmother. Lucretia Eller PRICHARD (Dec 16, 1832 TN to >1900 TN) who married Moses A. BYERS (Aug 8, 1824 TN to May 12, 1898 TN). I have confirmed the couple had only one child - Sarah A. BYERS (5/7/1850 TN - 11/30/1867 TN). Sarah BYERS married Charles L. ROBERTSON (Apr, 1840 VA - >1900 TN). Sarah & Charles had twin daughters and Sarah died a week later at the tender age of seventeen. Luecretia PRICHARD BYERS & Moses A. BYERS raised the twins - Sarah Laura (Nov 23, 1867 TN to May 30, 1882 TN) and Martha Flaura (Nov 23, 1867 TN to Aug 26, 1896 TN). Martha Flaura ROBERTSON is my g-grandmother and it took me over 20 years of research to find her. She died 13 days after the birth of her third child - my grandmother - and the children had no contact with their mother's family. I would love to connect with anyone with information about Moses A. BYERS. All I know of him other than the above is that he was lay minister in the Methodist faith (noted preaching several times in neighboring Dekalb County paper) and a 32nd degree Mason (on his tombstone).
