She was a member of the Anona Methodist Church, the Choir-Teens, the Future Homemakers Association and the girls chorus at the high school. In 1945, she came here with her family from Tampa. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Byars; two grandmothers, Mrs. Linda Sneed, Tampa, and Mrs. Ella Byars, Rhodhiss NC, and a grandfather, T.M. Sneed, Orlando.
