Aug 12, 1823. Their son was James Byars, info sheets indicate James married Elizabeth Walker, dau of Thaddeus Walker and Nancy Byars dau of Nathan Byars. James Byars and Elizabeth Walker Byars had 10 children: William, Jane, Robert, Nancy, ANDREW J. BYARS, James, EVAN BYARS, Martha, Thaddeus and Druscilla. Although the name listed on the info sheet is James Byars, we find in the Jefferson County, Alabama Orphans Ct. Bk 1832-1837, that children James, Evan, Martha, Thaddeus and Druscilla Byars are awarded to Nathan Byars. They are listed as "Children of Joseph Byars, deceased". ?Joesph Byars may have been Nathan Byars brother?(Not documented).
