I am VERY interested in this letter because I am Jonas' ggggranddaughter. He lived with my gggrandfather and gggrandmother in the latter part of his life (he is on the census with them at age 60). So I am not sure that he died in the Civil War. Could someone email me with info. on this? Also, I have much information on the Byars from an Ala. biographical book.
I would like any and all information on Byars family from Alabama, Georgia and Virginia please.
