I am looking for information on the marriage of John Webb b.1740 and Sarah Byars b.1742. I have seen this referenced many places but no source is referenced. It is speculated that they are the parents of Chesley Webb b.1772 NC. My line of Webbs match DNA with the Chesley Webb line but the documentation of this has not been proven from what I have researched. The researcher that has this Chesley as a direct line has not found a will or any other source to validate this. Where is a marriage bond for John Webb and Sarah Byars located? Are there any Byars family books that may shed some light on this? In advance thanks for any help you may be able to give on this. Jerry Webb
