My Byars are an allied family name they married into my Caldwells and Pattersons in Calhoun County Mississippi. I am trying to track them down. Would love to hear from you all and see where your Byars are from . I have two Byars I think are related the one I really want to find more on is a William Byars he married Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" Caldwell about 1895 She was b. 1873 They lived in Embry Miss. in 1916 when Bettys mother asked for a CSA widows pension. She was living with them. Betty and wm. had 3 children on the census I saw, Only two I found named Audrey and Bernice. In 1900 census the children mentioned (3 of them) were ages 2, 1 and 4 months. Bidwell was born in Missouri and was married to Fannie Cason who was also born in Missouri. They were in Brown County, Texas in 1895. Bidwell and Fannie were the parents of John Henry Byars who was born July 28, 1895 in Brown County, Texas. John Henry Byars married Minnie Wylma Russell in 1919 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They were the parents of Roberts Lee Byars who was born December 27, 1919. Roberta Lee Byars married Oscar Harvey Bryant on March 07, 1942 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. They were the parents of Donna Lee Bryant born January 16, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas. Donna Lee Bryant was married on September 07, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas to David Lee Divine (my son) born October 26, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas.
