Yes, the line I have researched does indeed link the Byars-Atteberry family lines. I am not an actual descendant, but I did the research to put together a family history for my half-brother who is a Byars. I have a lot of information, and also the names of others who have researched both these lines that can help you. My e-mail address is jblcivilwar@cox.net, and I look forward to hearing from you. She married William T. Fowler born May 1860 in SC and they had the following children: Dexter Converse (1894-1970), Lee Roy (1901-1991), Clyde Henry (1891-1970), Willie Washington (~1910-1978), Daisy M. (1905-?), Annie, unnamed (possibly twins), Elsie E. (1897-?). The couple are buried at Thompson Chapel Baptist Church. She also had a brother named Tom or Thomas, born Aug 1858 in SC that is also buried near the couple. He appears living with the family in the 1900 census. Could Queen be the Quinn listed as the daughter of Nathan Byars and Martha Lindsey, living with sister Sarah and brother William in the 1880 census? If so, where was Tom? I'm not sure where to go from here and would be very greatful for any assistance or direction. Thanks!
