    3. Hi Rod, I am also related to Sheryl's Byars line. Unfortunately, I have never received a reply from Sheryl following my follow-up post. This seems to be a trend recently, that people don't bother to reply. I have uncovered a lot more information since then. My great grandparents were Robert Todd Byars and Catharine Byrnes. One of Catharine Byrnes ancestors was supposedly a Throckmorton, but I have not verified that. Robert Byars' sister, Kate, married Cornelius Watts, although I don't know if he was from the same line. I guess things were pretty thick back then in Audrain county. I have several other cousins who are still seeking information on Elijah M. Byars, Robert Todd's father. We have been unsuccessful in finding out who Elijah's parents in Virginia were. My tree information can be found on Ancestry.com. Please contact me as I would be happy to share what information we both have. 3. Hi, Sorry, but you didn't see my previous post, made before I joined the mailing list: "Searching for descendants of my Uncle Lester F. Byars, born in Missouri August 11, 1910. Son of Robert Emmett Byars and Ida Mae Garwood. Lester's first wife's name unknown. Children born of first marriage thought to be named Barbara and Caroline. They would have been born prior to 1942. Lester had second wife, Betty. She died in 1991 and he died in 1977 in Port Huron, Michigan. Who knows these folks? Surnames: Webb, Byars Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/QJH.2ACIB/277 Message Board Post: Help me out Byars researchers. I am looking for information on the marriage of John Webb b.1740 and Sarah Byars b.1742. I have seen this referenced many places but no source is referenced. It is speculated that they are the parents of Chesley Webb b.1772 NC. My line of Webbs match DNA with the Chesley Webb line but the documentation of this has not been proven from what I have researched. The researcher that has this Chesley as a direct line has not found a will or any other source to validate this. Where is a marriage bond for John Webb and Sarah Byars located? Are there any Byars family books that may shed some light on this? In advance thanks for any help you may be able to give on this. Jerry Webb
