Hi List, Further to some recent entries on the list re being descendants of Kings of Scotland etc, my family "story" handed down over the years is that we are direct descendants of Mary Queen of Scots! So, I am trying to find if this is possible and if so, which Scottish family it refers to. I have Donald CAMERON, born 1822 near Ballachullish, Argyle, parents Angus CAMERON and Christina MCINTRE (Christina's family goes back to John [of Brecklet] MCINTYRE and John [of Culloden] MCINTYRE). I also have Jane WILSON, born 1828 in Rothesay, Bute, parents Thomas WILSON and Ann FERGUSON (Ann's mother was Catherine STUART). And one more - Dugald CAMPBELL born ca 1812 -17 near Dunoon, possibly Ardintinny or Gle(a)n ferre (a)nt - but as yet I don't know his parentage.
