My 6grt Grandparents, Patrick CAMPBELL (b. c.1673 at Ardbeg) & Agnes BANNATYNE (b. c.1677 at Ardbeg) were married 1699 in Rothesay. Their daughter, Mary, married Dougald FERGUSON in 1719, they had 12 known children and they were all born at Stuck Farm. Their son, Duncan, married Mary MACKIRDY and they had 11 known chidren born on the neighbouring Shalunt Farm. The FERGUSON line continued until Colin went to Greenock c 1815 and there the FERGUSON's married into the ROBERTSON's (from Arran) and on to my mother who was one of the Greenock ROBERTSON.
