Hi listers, I have found that my gg grandfather William Wright (born Rothesay 1827) later grew up in a cottage built by his father Robert about 1851 (a Coal Merchant & Ship Owner in Rothesay at the time). It was in Ascog and they named it "Braeside Cottage" although in another birth certificate of later family it was noted as "Burnside Cottage". I am pretty sure that it was Braeside as they named their new home in New Zealand Braeside. Can anyone tell me if this place still exists or anything that can help me with the above family.
