I am Jacqueline McCurdy Robinson. McCurdy is my maiden name. I am a native of San Diego, California. My father was Archibald Joseph McCurdy, born Sitka, Kansas, 1919, died San Diego 1999. His father was William Oliver McCurdy, born in Kansas (I think); His father was Elmer Edward McCurdy, born in Indiana, died in Battle Creek, MI 1936; (not related to the Elmer McCurdy-the Wild West Bandit); his father was named McCurdy-born in Indiana too and his family to Indiana from Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, I do not have my gggrandfathers first name nor any other information yet. It is almost as if this particular line of the McCurdy's did not exist after a certain date. My ggrandmother was Amanda Jane Bolte, born in Virginia (now West Virginia); children were Charles, Harley, Harvey, and my grandfather William Oliver. I missed the all McCurdy/McKirdy/McKurdy reunion about 10 years ago on Bute and now I understand that Paul McCartney owns the Stewart Castle, is that correct? If there is anyone out there who knows the whereabouts of a Marilyn McCurdy (and I don't have her married name) whose father was Harvey McCurdy, she now lives on the east coast of the United States, please have her contact me.
