Welcome to Ian H. Grant, 'Lassience', & Margo who have joined this week. If you haven't already contributed, we hope to hear from you soon. ****** ****** ****** I started off this months topic "Indexes or other publications on Microfilm, Microfiche or CD-ROM, or Websites that you have found helpful to your Buteshire &/or Scottish research." with a couple of general Buteshire items. Linda then gave the Arran researchers amongst us the pointer to the Lamlash Registrars office - no doubt when Linda finds her notes, she will pass on the contact details :-) So now its time for Bute and Cumbrae researchers to redress the balance! Don't forget the website that goes with this list http://www.rootsweb.com/sctbutes/ - contributions or suggestions for its improvement are always welcome. ****** ****** ****** List Admin: This was posted on the RootsWeb HelpDesk (15 July): "Delivery of mail to fsnet.co.uk / freeserve.co.uk RootsWeb is having issues delivering email to the UK ISP, Freeserve, due to what looks like busy mail servers at Freeserve. As RootsWeb tries to deliver mail to that network, their mail servers defer delivery to a later time, which may not come, and then the mail will bounce after several days. Update: Problem still ongoing." (Saturday 17th evening) To keep up-to-date with this and any other 'missing e-mail' issues, go to: http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/ ****** ****** ****** Feel free to join in and present your own items.
