    3. Hi Paul Sharron Hawkins - a regular on this list has done a Bute web page - on here you will find all sorts of information. I actually transcribed the 1861 Census for Rothesay which Sharon has put on the page.... just checked but no Allen McLEAN there. The reason I included the McLEANs when I had the film is because I am researching Margaret McLEAN who married my James THOMSON. They were not on the 1861 Census either (have just located them in Glasgow, minus James) but I currently have the 1851 Census for Rothesay which over the next few weeks I will be transcribing the same names as listed on the site. Will let you know when I have done this, I am sure Sharon will also add this to her site which is at http://www.geocities.com/buteshire/ Sharon has done a BEAUT job :o)) Cheers Sue Thompson Bunbury, Western Australia ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul McBride" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 23, 2000 5:46 AM Subject: McLean.
