Dear List, With all this talk of the McMurchy surname, I must ask whether anyone knows anything about one Marion (or Sarah) McMURCHY who married Finlay KERR, probably in the parish of Kilmory, Isle of Arran, Buteshire, and lived there and perhaps later at Torrisdale or Carradale, parish of Saddell and Skipness, Kintyre. All of this would be in the early 1700s. They may have had a son, Hugh KERR, who was one of my ancestors. Any information gratefully received. George Sanborn U.S.A.
