Hi Deb, My LOGAN forebears from Bute, were ; Alexander Logan married Janet RITCHIE or RICHARD 9 June 1810, West Kilbride, Ayr. They had the following children all born at Glenbowie, Bute. Hugh, born 23 June 1814, bap 17 July 1814 Mary, born 12 December 1816, bap 23 Feb 1817 John, born 10 September 1819, bap 14 Nov 1819, married Janet Alexander POLLOCK, 14 Dec 1847 Greenock, Renfrew (his father Alexander, is described as farmer, Ettington, Ayrshire) John and Janet emigrated to New Zealand in 1854 (on 1851 census at Mearns Street, Greenock) Agnes Richard, born 16 November 1822, bap 30 March 1824. Emigrated to New Zealand in 1858. Any connection ?
