Hi all, I am posting my in interest in the surname GLASGOW in Rothesay. The information I have is ; John GLASGOW married Isobel HUNTER, 24 February 1795, Rothesay. Children ; Robert Chr 7 Dec 1795 Rothesay (he later married Mary LAMB 15 July 1825 Kelso, Roxburgh) Janet Chr 19 Nov 1797 Rothesay The only other GLASGOW's of that time period at Rothesay that I came across were ; Andrew GLASGOW married Mary McGilp 13 August 1790 Rothesay, Children ; Andrew Chr 16 June 1793 Rothesay Margaret Chr 18 January 1795 Rothesay ( ?married James LAURIE 9 June 1818 Rothesay) Malcolm Glasgow married Mary Bannatyne, child ; Mary Chr 21 May 1799 Rothesay Could someone please look up an early census (1841 or 1851) to see if any GLASGOW's remained in Rothesay. Also if the records are available could someone look to see if any GLASGOW's were buried at Rothesay which may tie in with the above.
