During my family research, I have "come across" a reference that Sir Richard BURTON was "of Rothesay". Further research amongst my family members, suggests that he was a Minister at Rothesay. His son John married at Canterbury Kent in 1829. I need to ascertain just what is correct for Sir? &/or Rev? Richard BURTON! Perhaps someone is able to check the Clergy lists in Rothesay, or have other lists which may show him as "Sir". Anyway, I would be very grateful for any assistance. Don [email protected] Australia
