His wife was ISOBEL DOUGLAS b abt 1745, (of Rothesay), Bute. Their son JOHN BLACK, ch. Mar 29, 1767 in Rothesay, Bute JOHN BLACK, b Mar 29, 1767 in Rothesay, Bute. (No marriage found) His son was JOHN BLACK, b Dec 4 , 1791 Son's wife was MARY McLEAN,b Sept 23 1804 in Kingarth, Bute, d after 1828 Their daughter was ISOBEL BLACK ch Feb 1,1818 in Kingarth, Bute. There may have been other siblings - Mary 1820, Agnes 1822, Joseph Stewart 1826, Margaret 1828 and Mary 1830.
