Alice is the daughter of John and Janet Wiggins. She was one of 8 children. The youngest child of John and Janet Wiggins.The sister of Alice, is my grandmother. Her birth name is Janet Wiggins, but she went by the name of Nettie Lennox. Janet (Nettie Lennox) emigrated to Canada sometime in 1906 (?) we think. We have spent the last year finding out that Nettie was the youngest of 8 children and that we have relatives more than likely still residing in Scotland. Alice and Nettie (Janet) had 6 brothers, one died at age 18 months. Alice and Nettie's mother, Janet (Gorman) Wiggins died when Nettie was four months old. Their father died when Nettie was three and Alice was five. Is any of this sounding familiar to anyone that is reading this? I have additional information on Alice's family, her siblings, grandparents, etc. if need be I can share that with you. I will be making a visit to Scotland in September with my father (Nettie's son)and we would very much like to find some living relatives to meet. Nettie never talked about her life in Scotland nor her "real" family with her son or daughter, so this is all a surprise to them. It would be nice to meet up with relatives that knew more than we do.
