ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE. In March of 2001 I am flying into Glasgow where I have a car reserved. I plan to drive to the Isle of Bute and visit the towns of Rothesay and Kilgarth, they being the homeplace of my great grandmother's family. I would appreciate any advice about travel, time needed and conditions. I think I may need to take a ferry to get to Bute ?? - please advise best options. While I would love to spend a long time in Scotland, I have only 2 weeks to get a lot done in both Scotland and England so anticipate only a day or two for this expedition.
