Janet SPENCE b. 1738 married Archibald BAXTER in 1762. Her parents were Robert SPENCE and Mary FROW, who were married at Rothesay on 6th April 1727. They had 6 children, Janet,James 1740, Hugh 1743, Mary 1744, Hugh 1747, Florence 1751. I think Mary FROW was born in Rothesay 1697 and her parents were John FROW and Isabel MCCONACHY, but have not so far traced Robert SPENCE's parents.
